Apprenticeships

In-house training is important for us: We provide apprenticeships for 19 different professions and offer our junior staff the chance of a successful professional future. As an apprentice you will take on varied and responsible tasks. In our training centre you will be supervised by experienced trainers. Wiegand-Glas apprentices are regularly among the best of the year. We are very proud of this.

Internships

An internship is the best way to gain initial experiences and impressions in professional life. We offer school students internships in all of our apprenticeship professions.

  • 12:30 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. Getting to know the training workshop and making a souvenir
  • 2:45 p.m. to 2:50 p.m. Feedback and Q&A session
  • 2:50 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Quiz round
  • 3:00 p.m. End of Girls'Day

There are always new and exciting tasks

„I decided to apply for a job at Wiegand-Glas because of the proximity of my home to the glassworks and a recommendation from my family. In addition to the daily conversion of the glass forming machines, there are always new and exciting tasks. That's the fascinating thing about my job - I couldn't imagine spending the whole day in an office, for example. As an industrial mechanic, I work closely with other specialists such as electricians and production staff to jointly optimise the production processes."
