Each year, we handle around 110,000 orders in the areas of distribution and bulk goods. with our 47 own trucks, including sliding floor trucks, standard semi-trailer trucks with a trailer pool, jumbo trailer trucks, mega semi-trailers and long semi-trailers as well as a reliable partner transport companies. Your product arrives from our warehouses to its destination safely and just in time. We also rely on digital processes from order entry via vehicle telematics to the archiving of freight-related documents.

The protection of resources and our environment are a priority objective for the entire Wiegand-Glas company group. Thus we have made it our daily task to achieve a higher railway intensity in the inbound and outbound flow of our goods and raw materials. By modernising and recommissioning the railway connection at our Steinbach am Wald site and by reactivating rail freight traffic at our production site in Schleusingen, we want to relieve the roads and the environment more and more. The efficient utilisation of the cargo space in cooperation with the experts in our glass plants and our customers is also on the daily agenda, as is our interest in alternative drive concepts.
