Our customer, Molkerei Berchtesgadener Land, was recently awarded the Deutsche Nachhaltigkeitspreis (German Sustainability Award) for its commitment to people, animals and nature - we are proud to be part a small part of this success!
Molkerei Berchtesgadener Land relies on environmentally friendly packaging
Reusable bottles can be reused up to 50 times, which drastically reduces the need for new raw materials, energy and CO2. “That's why we fill our milk in the 1.00 l. and 0.50 l. Milchflasche from Wiegand-Glas’s reusable portfolio. With this environmentally friendly, we are sending a strong signal for sustainable business,” Thomas Thaler, from Molkerei Berchtesgardener Land, confirms the intention behind this. The glass bottle is practically the only reusable container for milk. Wiegand-Glas is therefore also making its contribution to sustainability and thus to the customer's award.
