Another award for the Bocksbeutel PS from Wiegand-Glas

This year, the Aktionsforum Glasverpackung has awarded Divino Nordheim Thüngersheim eG with the "Product Innovation in Glass" award.

In the category "Medium and Large Companies", the customer of the Upper Franconian container glass manufacturer was able to enjoy the trophy with its dry DIVINO Franken 2017 Silvaner Spätlese. The statement from the jury: "With the DIVINO Franken in the newly designed Bocksbeutel PS, well-known traditional values are brought into the present, which save the Franconian Bocksbeutel from disappearing. The new shape with striking lines is an innovation that does not deny the former identity of the Bocksbeutel, but develops the tradition further and – matching the Franconian wine – reinterprets it."

Felix Reich, Winemaker at DIVINO Nordheim, together with Andreas Oehm from the Franconian Winegrowers' Association and the Franconian wine princess Vanessa Wischer as well as the managing director of Wiegand-Glas, Nikolaus Wiegand, accepted the award on the occasion of the Trendtag Glas 2018.

After winning the German Packaging Award in gold in 2017, this represents another great success for Bocksbeutel PS and the Wiegand-Glas business group.

Every year, the Aktionsforum Glasverpackung awards the "Product Innovation in Glass" prize to innovative products from the food and beverage industry that are packaged in glass. An independent jury evaluates the entries, nominates the three best products for the categories "Small Companies" and "Medium and Large Companies" and determines the winners.
