Tettau declaration of the glass industry
A conference on industrial policy held at the beginning of April by IG BCE Mainfranken in cooperation with the companies Wiegand-Glas, Gerresheimer and Heinz-Glas focused on rising energy costs and the associated location risk for the energy-intensive container glass industry in our region.
The company, the association and the trade union demand a clear commitment to maintaining the German glass industry
On the occasion of this conference "Quo vadis German industry? No more chimneys = climate saved?" the three enterprises at the Rennsteig with their coworkers, the Federal Glass Industry Association, the Employer's Federation for Glass and Solar as well as the Industrial Union for Mining, Chemistry, and Energy demand a clear commitment of the drivers of the energy revolution on the preservation of the glass industry in Bavaria and Germany. The demands are formulated in the Tettau declaration.
