Our trained apprentices take off

These days 24 apprentices of the Wiegand-Glas business group have double reason to smile. In addition to their successfully completed apprenticeships, they can all look forward to being taken on in a permanent position.

In 2020 simply everything is different. Our trained apprentices could not be honoured as usual at the official welcome event for our new apprentices for their successfully completed final examination, thus each location carried out an own honour for its apprentices itself.

We congratulate our 24 apprentices for their very good performance and loyalty to our company

On 6 November 2020 the Chief Executive Officers of Wiegand-Glas as well as our Chief human resources officer, Ingbert Löffler, handed over the gifts to our junior staff and congratulated them on their completed apprenticeships. Due to their very good results in the final examinations of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce, as well as in the vocational school or university of applied sciences, four graduates each received a special award. We are very happy that our apprentices have decided to remain loyal to Wiegand-Glas and warmly congratulate them on passing their exams. Also many thanks to all trainers and those responsible for training, who were always available to give our former apprentices advice and support during their apprenticeships.
