Open day exclusively for young talents

Many families found their way to our plant in Steinbach am Wald on that sunny autumn day and got all questions relating to training answered at first hand. And there was much more.

A great programme with numerous hands-on activities

Exciting tours of our glassworks awaited visitors and they were able to experience live how bottles for the beverage industry are made from glowing glass gobs. In the workshops, our trainees gave exciting insights into the various training professions and our young guests made creative flower-shaped tea light holders themselves. And a wheel of fortune with great prizes ensured that everyone will remember the Open Day and Wiegand-Glas fondly.

In between, there were tasty refreshments for everyone: with coffee, home-baked Wiegand waffles, pizza and burgers, there was something to suit every taste.

Many contacts were made and interesting conversations held from early in the morning until late in the afternoon. We are sure that we will see one or the other visitor again soon - whether as part of an internship, holiday job or apprenticeship. Thanks for visiting and making the day something special!
