Successful start of the PV installation at Wiegand-Glas Großbreitenbach
Wiegand Green Energy GmbH has good reason to celebrate: the new photovoltaic system on our roofs in Großbreitenbach was successfully put in operation at the end of May. With the integration into the existing electricity infrastructure, the large-scale project was successfully completed - realized in close cooperation with our electrical workshop, the energy project team and external PV partners.
A big step for our sustainable energy future
By the end of September, almost 3.8 GWh of green electricity had already been generated - equivalent to the annual electricity consumption of almost 3,500 people. By using renewable energy, we are not only strengthening our security of supply and competitiveness, but also making an important contribution to reducing CO2 emissions and consistently driving forward the sustainable development of our production plants.
