Open Day at Wiegand-Glas: Taking a look behind the scenes

How is a glass bottle actually manufactured? What technology is behind a modern glassworks? And what does it look like inside a plant that produces millions of glass containers every day?

Visitors can find answers to these and many other questions at our Wiegand-Glas Open Day in Steinbach am Wald. As part of the glassworks’ 100th anniversary, the plant is opening its doors to employees, families, friends, acquaintances and the interested public.

Visitors can explore the glassworks at their own pace along marked routes and catch a rare look behind the scenes. This is a rare opportunity to experience production up close.

In addition to the plant tours, guests can look forward to a varied programme of events:

• games and fun for children
