Welcome to the Team: 38 Young Professionals Kick Off Their Journey

As we do every summer, it was once again a particularly festive occasion for us: at our traditional welcome event, the spotlight was on the young people who will help shape the future of our company group: 38 new apprentices and dual-study students have joined and were given a warm welcome. At the same time, we congratulated 25 proud graduates on successfully completing their apprenticeships or dual studies.

Welcoming new talent, honouring successful graduates

We are particularly proud this year of the outstanding achievements of Jonas Steiner, Eric Endler, and Josephine Michelle Adam. They completed apprenticeships as industrial maintenance mechanics, electronics technicians for industrial engineering and technical product designers at our glass plants in Ernstthal and Schleusingen, achieving an average mark of 1.9 or better. Congratulations on this impressive achievement, and thank you to their trainers and colleagues for their support. In-company training is a top priority for the Wiegand-Glas group. After all, qualified young professionals are essential to our future – and that is precisely why we are particularly delighted to challenge and nurture young talents.
