Honouring Jubilees of Wiegand-Glas: 2025 years of employment

Long service to the company is not a matter of course - which is why Wiegand-Glas appreciates the loyalty and commitment of its employees all the more. At the beginning of May 2025, 113 employees from the Wiegand-Glas group celebrating their 10, 25 or 40 years of service were honoured at a festive event. Together, they bring an impressive 2025 years of experience to the group.

46 former employees who retired in 2024 were also officially bid farewell at the ceremony. The management, technical management, works councils and local representatives from the Wiegand-Glas sites honoured their many years of commitment and service.

A special moment was the speech by Oliver Wiegand, who, as Managing Partner, honoured them for the last time. In very personal words, he said: “Your many years of service is not a matter of course - it is a gift for which I would like to say thank you personally today.” He went on to emphasise: “In almost 30 years, I have learnt that the true success of a company cannot only be measured in figures, but also in attitude, cooperation and mutual trust. And you have lived and breathed this trust.”

A successful day full of appreciation, retrospection and encounters - which many will remember for a long time to come.
