PET-Verpackungen GmbH Deutschland scores again on climate protection

In 2025, the commitment of PET-Verpackungen GmbH Deutschland to climate protection and the reduction of greenhouse gases was awarded a B rating by the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP). We once again achieved the highest rating in the CDP SME Questionnaire 2025. This confirms our consistent actions: Our measures to use renewable energies and reduce our ecological footprint are having a lasting effect.

CDP confirms our B-Rating for 2025

Together with our partners along the supply chain, we are continuously developing innovative solutions for a low-carbon economy. This new award is, for our corporate group, both confirmation and an incentive for us to continue resolutely on our path towards a more sustainable future.

One important step is the use of 100% green electricity from 2025, which will enable us to completely eliminate our Scope 2 emissions in our PET division. Equally significant is the development of a new, ultra-light preform with only 9.9 g which not only reduces transport weight but also saves valuable raw materials and thus leads to lower emissions throughout the supply chain.
