A special gift for Christmas

As a family business with strong roots in the region, Wiegand-Glas has always been committed to social responsibility and social engagement. So it is fitting that Wiegand-Glas is now, shortly before Christmas, giving the children's fire brigade of Steinbach am Wald a special gift.

Children's fire brigade delighted with donation

To promote youth development, the organising team of this year's event Glashütte live! presented a donation of 600 euros. The amount comes from the proceeds of food sales during the event and will therefore benefit a regional social cause.

The official cheque presentation to the children took place in our head offices in the presence of supervisors and parents. During the plant tour, young and old alike gained exciting insights into the production of container glass.
