Wiegand-Glas awarded with “Akzeptanz Preis 2024”

Wiegand-Glas was nominated for the 2024 Akzeptanz Preis by Stiftung Rehabilitationszentrum Thüringer Wald (REHA - the Thuringian Forest Rehabilitation Center Foundation) and our many years of commitment were honoured and awarded on 29 October at the EGA Park in Erfurt.

Our commitment to people with disabilities is honoured.

At our plant in Schleusingen, we have been working with Reha-Werkstätten Schleusingen for more than 20 years and offer external jobs and training opportunities for their employees. Our commitment not only enables participation in working life, but also raises awareness of inclusion in society. We are proud of this!

With the AKZEPTANZ company award, Lebenshilfe Thüringen (association for people with disabilities) recognizes companies that enable people with disabilities to participate in working life. The prize has been awarded to regional companies in Thuringia every two years since 2010.
