The Weihenstephaner Helle has a new generation

The Bayerische Staatsbrauerei Weihenstephan, founded in 1040 as the monastery brewery of the Benedictine monks, is now operating as a state-directed enterprise under the control of the Bavarian government.

Since the Weihenstephaner Helle in the 0.5-litre Euro bottle has seen very pleasing growth since its introduction in May 2020, the Bayerische Staatsbrauerei Weihenstephan is now continuing the unbroken retro trend with the smaller 0.33-litre BavarianCraft container.

Weihenstephaner Helles also available in the 0.33-litre BavarianCraft bottle

"Of course, it would have been easier for bottling, for example, to use the existing 0.33-litre longneck bottle in which our Weihenstephaner Original Helles is also bottled. But that was out of the question for us. Together with our partner, the Wiegand-Glas group, we created a small Euro bottle as another unique selling point of Weihenstephaner Helles compared to the rest of the range," explains Dr. Schrädler, Brewery Director of the Bayerische Staatsbrauerei Weihenstephan.

Another success story that we have the pleasure of writing together with our customer. The new 0.33-litre BavarianCraft bottle is the perfect size for every occasion, whether it's to take to the swimming lake, after sports or simply with family and friends in the garden.
